n771025439_6098370_6416335It may be winter outside but it’s always summer at Rock a Hula! So here’s your chance to come in out of the cold and keep warm under the Hawaiian sun at the best retro beach party in  town with our free ticket competition.

November’s jam packed Rock a Hula is going to be a little bit steamy, a little bit saucy and as always, a whole lot of fun. Playing live this month are Parisian jazz chanteuse Florence Jowelle and guitarist Stirling Roswell who will get temperatures rising with their blend of subterranean blues and space-age jazz.
Making you a bit hot under the collar will be burlesque cutie Twinkle Star performing her Seaside Pinup act – a shy sunbather takes a little Dutch courage, and ends up showing more than her bikiniDescribed on the scene as “out of the ordinary”, “very funny”, “superb” and “a delight”, she is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye.
As a special November treat you get two fabulous DJ’s for the price of one: our lovely resident DJ El Nino will be keeping things swinging with everything from Charleston to Rockabilly and everything in between, while special guest DJ Tony Diavolo will back again spinning the wildest, coolest tunes from the Forties to the Sixties.
And if that’s not enough to tickle your fancy then there’s more of fun to be had with our award winning mix of hula hoops – available to play with and for sale -, beginners swing dance lesson (at 8.30pm), a screening of Blue Hawaii in the cinema, Hawaiian photo booth and dressing up box. Plus there is bowling and karaoke available to book on the night.
