Say hello to Vintage Queen no 120, the gorgeous Nora from Sydney. Her amazing Fifties summer dresses are giving us serious style envy.

“Hi all, my name is Nora and I run a vintage blog called NoraFinds. I live in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia, where I can wear my vintage summer dresses almost all year round. My passion for vintage originally stemmed from my love for history and dressing up, but I am now a full-blown addict.

Growing up I was not very confident about how I looked, so it really did take 25 years to finally feel comfortable in my own skin (and vintage!). I would describe my style as practical and girly and I wear dresses all the time – people would ask me if I was sick/sad if they saw me wearing jeans!

My favorite eras have to be the Forties and the Fifties. While I have always loved the Fifties for the feminine silhouette and the glamour, I fell for the Forties for its humility and strength. I buy most of my vintage pieces on Etsy. There aren’t as many vintage pieces here in Australia – and they can be expensive – so I often find myself sourcing pieces on the internet.

I browse both Etsy and eBay religiously, and I also find that the internet is a great place to connect with other vintage lovers and get inspired! Obviously, Queens of Vintage is a great place for me to find fabulous vintage kids from all over the world!

I have been working as a molecular biologist for the past 4 ½ years, but am taking a short mental health break to refocus and take stock of where I am and where I want to be. I will use this break to work on my blog, write more articles, and style more photo shoots. Maybe one day I will work in vintage full-time!”

Wow, that button bouquet is so amazing I can’t deal. As much as I love a living flower, that bouquet is to die for. I would keep that forever. How clever. I really love the first look. Peach is your color and you really nailed that look from head to toe.

A fellow Sydney-sider! I know the pain. No vintage here unless you’re an heiress!
Beautiful collection of dresses and well styled as well!
