I had done some research into vintage shopping in Singapore before I left and was very surprised and excited to find that there are a few vintage boutiques hidden away in the corners of shopping centres and along the side streets of the city.

My first stop was De Ja Vu Vintage, where I found a good selection of vintage delights. They had some fabulous blueclutchbaganvintage Eighties couture dresses which were a little bit out of my price range at around £300 each. They also had a good selection of vintage handbags, mainly Eighties clutch bags and a few Twenties beaded bags.

I picked up this great navy leather clutch bag, a great classic piece and when I looked at the label inside I was surprised to find it said ‘Bally, made in the UK’.
