Vintage revamp: the little tweed jacket

| April 5, 2009 | 1 Comment

The little tweed jacket is a fashion classic you can pick up cheaply at vintage and charity shops. But what if the style isn’t quite what you had in mind? Lucy Housman gave her vintage tweed jacket a modern update.

I found this amazing tweed jacket hidden among a bunch of less notable coats and things in a charity shop.

Interestingly, it’s not your usual fitted blazer style one, instead it’s got this baggy, less-fitted look.

Both the tweed and the lining are great quality fabrics, and the shape has potential. I think a small but significant alteration is needed to change this slightly dated piece into a modern wonder.
