Vintage interiors peep goes to Istanbul Our vintage interiors peep series is heading to the Bosporus to have a sneaky look around a lovely home in Istanbul (Turkey), which is choc-a-bloc full of vintage treasures and lovingly collected family keepsakes. The home’s owner, Yaprak, has always been interested in vintage, her love for all things old started with keeping the old belongings of family members: “Maybe vintage reminds me of childhood days, the Seventies and so on, it gives me a feeling of happiness.” One Response Emma November 21st, 2009 My boyfriend and I have a version of the red plastic clock on a yellow plastic stand that we bought from an antiques store in our home town. Other than it saying ‘Made in Germany’ on it, we don’t know much about it. If either the author or the owner of this clock knows anything, I’d love to hear about it. Photo of my version here: http://littleowlski.wordpress.com/2009/10/20/70s-sunburst-clock-and-others/ Many thanks, Emma Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.CommentName* Email* Website Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
