Boasting a colourful vintage fashion scene, Adelaide has some fantastic vintage clothes shops scattered around the city offering glamorous delights from bygone eras. And here to open a few of Adelaide’s vintage treasure chests, Andie Taylor shares her top five vintage stores. Hero Vintage – 5 Ebenezer Place Adelaide Located in the east end of Adelaide, Hero Vintage offers a selection of beautiful dresses, dating from the Forties up to the Eighties as well as great accessories, including an extensive range of vintage hats. Each piece is handpicked for great quality and each oozes with old-style glamour and elegance. Red Ruby Vintage – 14 Peel Street Adelaide Red Ruby is situated just off Hindley St, towards the west end of Adelaide. The main focus of the stock is on a wonderful selection of vintage dresses, from the Thirties to the Eighties, and there’s also a small but lovely selection of accessories and other women’s clothing items.
