If you haven’t already tweetered into the world of Twitter then sign up and follow fellow vintage enthusiasts to receive a constant feed of handy advice and tips. http://twitter.com/avintagebrideis one of my favourite twitterers as she keeps me in the loop with wedding advice.

It’s going to be a gruelling process to find one-off pieces that fit together to create the distinctive style that only vintage can achieve, but as they say no pain no gain. So take a deep breath and you’ll soon be hot on the heels to victory.

    I wore a beautiful 1960′s French Lace vintage wedding dress from the Vintage Wedding Dress Company for my wedding back in September 2008, I had so many wonderful comments on it; but the best thing was knowing I had something truly original!
