If you live in the north of England, this will be one for you! The Festival of Vintage returns to York’s racecourse on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th April, taking you back in time to celebrate the sights, sounds and pastimes of the Thirties to the Sixties.

Whether you’re a vintage aficionado, or just looking for something different to do, with nostalgia displays on ‘how we used to live’, classic cars on display, textiles and clothes exhibitions and even a vintage cinema, the Festival of Vintage offers something for everyone.

You could even take part in a free workshop learning anything from the Lindy Hop to the Charleston or crochet.

Visitors are encouraged to dress the part in their best vintage finery, with £100 each day going to the Best Dressed. If you need inspiration, there will be fashion shows and parades from some of the UK’s biggest names in vintage clothing as well as a pop-up hair and beauty parlour.

All this, plus 120 specially-selected vintage dealers from across the UK,  a backdrop of live music from bands, cabaret acts and vintage gramophone DJs, with vintage authors, clubs, magazines and experts on hand throughout the day.
