Review: The East End Thrift Store February Party Here at QueensOfVintage.com we are always on the look out for a vintage bargain, so – for purely professional reasons of course – we have to go and check out every vintage sale in town. Holly Fraser went to the East End Thrift Story February Party and managed to survive without a shopping induced injury. The mere whisper of a vintage clothing shopping party has the power to send many a vintage enthusiast into an excitable, quivering fit. This too, would usually be my first reaction, along with thoughts of ‘get me to the nearest tube’. However, following my last excursion where I shopped til I dropped at a vintage sale, the Angels Big Vintage sale, way back in December, I was somewhat scarred. Not only by the sheer power that Fifties frocks have to send hundreds of people into an uncontrollable frenzy, but also literally. I joined in the trampling and ended up with a very painful twisted ankle. So you can understand my trepidation at the thought of another such event.
