Revamp you maxi dress into a mod mini

Vintage shops are full of Seventies maxi dresses that are often unflattering and difficult to wear. Lucy Housman has made her maxi dress into a mod mini. Find out how.

 When I first spotted this spacious a-line maxi dress my first thought was what a perfect mini mod dress it would make. Oh the excitement, especially as I had been on the look out for one for some time.

 

 

I started off by slimming the dress down by taking in the side seams a good two to three inches on each side.

Make sure that there is still enough room in the dress to get it over your head, unless of course yours has a zip.
