Retro skin care: Soap & Glory While their retro packaging and tongue-in-cheek product names have found lots of imitators, Soap & Glory remains a vintage-inspired beauty brand well worth checking out. I have to admit, I am always dubious when I get send products to try out. What if I don’t like them? Worse, what if I hate the whole brand? Luckily I didn’t have to worry about either when Soap & Glory sent me their Rich & Foamous shower gel and Smoothis Star body butter. Their stuff is lush. With their ueber retro packaging and cheeky product names they naturally appeal to me, I mean who doesn’t like pretty packaging in their bathroom? What really vows me though are their products – they smell divine, do exactly what they promise and are within a price range I can afford. I’m not the easiest customer to please either, my skin is ultra sensitive and dry, and I really dislike the strong perfumed smell some beauty products have. Again, Soap & Glory scores highly here. The body butter I’ve tried is moisturising without being greasy and the shower gel cleanses well without irritating. If you feel like checking them out, definitely also take a look at their make-up guide on the Twenties-inspired Gatsby look. Have you tried them before? What did you think?
