Reproduction vintage report: Heyday! A firm favourite amongst vintage lovers and swing dancers, repro label Heyday! specialises in vintage-style clothing from the Thirties, Forties and Fifties. QueensOfVintage.com takes a closer look at what’s on offer. Shona van Beers never really started Heyday!, a vintage-style clothing company, she was simply always making her own clothes. Shona started re-creating vintage looking pieces when dancing Rock and Roll competitions in New Zealand back in the late Eighties when vintage was neither cool nor available. While loving real vintage pieces, thrashing them on the dance floor seemed a sacrilege. Other people seemed to agree, and hence Shona started her own range to sell, cobbling together enough items to start a small stall in August 2006. Today Heyday! is a well-stocked repro shop with plenty of styles for both men and women. One Response Lisa Prest March 27th, 2010 I have just purchased some of Heyday’s fabulous swing trousers and am so pleased with them! Thanks to Shona for an excellent product and such warm customer service. I recommend this company wholeheartedly.
