With plenty of original vintage pieces, modern corsets and plenty of retro underwear, you are bound to find something for the new, glamorous you.

Pixxi owner Jen Dodson runs an ‘appointment only system’ for her vintage lingerie boudoir. Located on the ground floor of a private Regency building in Brunswick Square, just off of the Brighton sea front, she specialises in silk and satin Thirties and Forties trousseaux gowns, slips and all boudoir accessories.

For all of us who aren’t Brighton-based, her online shop is a virtual treasure trove of vintage lingerie, powder compacts, hair accessories, cigarette holders and even bags and jewellery.

    I think buying vintage lingerie is a great way to get into collecting vintage. The fabrics and sewing techniques were far superior back in the day and so most lingerie has stood the test of time very well. There’s lots and lots of choice out there. My only advice is to know your measurements and measure yourself regularly. 🙂
