Model exclusive: Sailor Cherry shares her top tips for becoming a vintage pin-up
QoV: What was your best moment in your career so far? And what your worst?
Sailor Cherry: Working with great photographers such as Tony Rusecki and Miss Rain. I will shortly be working with Terrence Mendoza, Being September’s pin-up girl for Milkcow magazine’s calender. I don’t think I have had a worst moment yet! Oh maybe the time I brought odd stockings to a photoshoot – disaster!
QoV: What would be your top tips for someone looking to make it as a pin-up?
Sailor Cherry: Produce a good portfolio of work, but be prepared to go to a professional who specialises in pin-up photography and to pay for shoots or to give your time for prints or Time for CD. Promote yourself, get portfolios on model networking sites, get your face and name known, submit photos to websites, magazines and clothing companies.
Good luck girls! Sailor Cherry xox
