London’s hidden vintage village

Mint
A vintage store that doesn’t source its collections by era but by trend, Mint bridges the gap between the high street and vintage. Everything is bought a season ahead and the whole store is coherent and well edited, with a fast turn-over of stock to prove it.
They have a fantastic selection of men’s vintage, so if you’re planning on giving your man a retro make-over here would be the ideal place without scaring the bejeebers out of him.
In the shop I saw piles of high-waisted trousers and harem pants and rails of jumpsuits long before Topshop stocked them. The basement has enough accessories to make any vintage lover’s heart race, and literally had me jump for joy at the fantastic selection of boots, hats and bags. The wall of vintage sunglasses could have kept me busy for hours.
We found an amazing Seventies coral jump suit as well as a Fifties baby blue dream dress, both at a reasonable £125. The prices and layout are similar to shopping at the upper end of the highstreet apart from the vital fact – you won’t see anyone else wearing your purchases.

This is great! Pop is definitely one of my favourites. I’ll definitely be checking ‘Mint’ out x
Quite weirdly, I’m wearing a skirt I bought from there. It’s a lovely shop.
