Kings of Vintage: keep your style timeless with a vintage watch
Well how could I avoid the big contenders in the watch world?
Omega is a Swiss brand, founded in 1848. They created the first watches to be taken up into space by NASA and have been used in James Bond films since 1995. Prized for their use of luxury materials and impeccable craftsmanship, these watches have never been cheap, but they’ve always been highly covetable.
Rather than go for a garish Omega watch (personally I don’t find a chunk of expensive metal with twenty dials all that stylish), I thought I’d show this lovely Omega from the Fifties.
It’s a beautiful, paired-down design which lets Omega craftsmanship really sing through. Just look at those lovely art-deco shapes where the strap meets the face and where the calendar is shown.
It’s up for sale now at Wristwatchworld.co.uk now for £1900.

What a wonderful article! I have to admit, I don’t pay that much attention to the details of men’s vintage looks. Thanks for letting this old Elvis fan know a thing or two about the King’s favorite wrist watch.
