Interiors peep goes to a vintage East London home
In my sitting room, this cat lamp was a real find! I believe it was originally made by Heal’s in the Fifties. This is actually the fourth one I’ve owned because for some reason I keep breaking them. I added the lampshade myself which was bought from a car boot sale.
The wicker chair next to the lamp is from the Fifties. I’m hoping to build up a collection of garden furniture to actually use outside. I really like Bakelite, Lucite, and other vintage plastics – especially if brightly coloured.
This retro magazine rack was a gift from my brother from a house clearance. I think it dates from the Fifties.

Ahhh, I love the magazine rack!
I love the birdcage. Emma’s got the best collection of things ever, my photos don’t really do it all justice!
I loved this interior peep– especially the details of how and where she’s collected the items. Does she have a Web site of her photography up? I’m curious to see her own artwork.
Cool or what? Me, I want the lot, well done you!
I love the 1930s dresser!
