If you’re unfamiliar with French photographer Franck Bohbot’s work, you need to head to his portfolio now. With an incredible collection of images, including a wonderful series on America’s Art Deco cinemas, his photography features some of the most inspirational vintage spaces you can come across in the US.

Highlights include the 1932-built Alameda in San Francisco (pictured above), which was restored to its former glory in 2008, and the Orinda Theatre (Orinda, California – pictured below) which opened in 1941 and was rescued from demolition by local conservationists in the Eighties.
