Here at QueensOfVintage.com we are fascinated by classic pin-up hair styles. However the complicated waves, curls and up-dos look incredibly hard to recreate, which has put us off from trying to copy the look so far. Things are set to change however, since we have stumbled across a brilliant step-by-step video guide.

The brilliant Iris has filmed this fascinating video tutorial which shows you how to achieve a glamorous pin-up hair style. The guide is very easy to follow with clear instructions and no need for fancy hairdressing equipment, so get your brushes at the ready.

This is cute, but the very best vintage hair guru is LisaFreemontStreet on youtube. She’s amazing, and uploads at least a video a week.

I love the dress of the girl at the top with the red hair!!! Maybe someone can tell me where I can buy it (or a similar dress)?? That would be nice! 😀
    Thanks

The dress is a STOP STARING style that I believe is still in production. Try http://www.stopstaring.com and see if they retail.

I love the idea of a tutorial I always have such a hard time getting my hair even. I just went and had my hair done by Sherri at Diamond Dolls and was really happy with the experience she even gave me a little 1 on 1 lesson (free of charge) on how to style my hair in victory rolls. http://www.diamonddollslondon.com I’ll upload photos when I go out tonight if I don’t get snowed on 🙂
