Grace-ful attire – fabulous vintage at the Grace Kelly: Style Icon private view Jessica Hannan of amazing vintage label Vintage Academe had a rare moment of ‘what to wear’ when she was getting ready to attend the private view of new V&A exhibition Grace Kelly: Style Icon. Only a girl’s own wedding day, could provide the level of wardrobe anxiety that I experienced yesterday afternoon, as I decided on an outfit to wear for the Grace Kelly: Style Icon private view at the V&A. Luckily, I work for the luxury vintage and haute couture label, Vintage Academe, where wearing pieces from our archive, to fashion events is part of the job, (it’s a hard life but someone has to do it!) Arriving at the V&A, the pre-drinks were situated in the foyer of the museum. A swing band echoed around the Egyptian relics, as couture clad ladies whispered over their champagne glasses filled with vintage Perrier-Jouët.
