D&G and Chloé were among the designers using old curtain ties as fashion statements in their new collections this season, so take that as your cue to start experimenting. Old style tasselled ties were firmly in favour on the runway, but if that’s not your thing then get crazy with ties, scarves and anything else comes to hand.
