Bauhaus in Tel Aviv

Bauhaus, also known as the International Style, came to Tel Aviv in the Thirties. It was brought to Israel by former students of The Bauhaus School of Arts, Design and Architecture in Weimar, Germany. Influenced by Cubism, structural forms, and functionality, the school’s architects built modern, clean-cut buildings all over the city. Angel Cutsforth took a look around the city.
