Banish the L-plates: have a vintage-themed hen do London-based vintage crockery hire and styling company A Most Curious Party has teamed up with some of the top vintage experts London has to offer to give hen parties glamorous, fun-packed afternoons and evenings – the vintage way. ‘Alice in Wonderland’ obsessed Rebecca Hoh-Hale of vintage crockery hire and styling company A Most Curious Party has been inspired by her own years as a bride-to-be and knows the lack of fun-filled vintage options for hen parties all too well. She’s teamed up with the fashionable Hazel Holtham, founder of roaming vintage clothes shop Rag&Bow to offer hens a wonderful afternoon or evening of being styled into perfection to a backdrop of tea, cake and bubbly all served on vintage tea sets accompanied by music from the Twenties right through to the Eighties. Also on board are the rockin’ and a rollin’ hair stylist Anita Rice from the Pimps and Pin-Ups Salon and her perfect partner in crime, vintage make-up expert Bella Simonsen, who has worked on many editorial fashion shoots and catwalk shows. The team are filling the gap in the market for affordable, fun-orientated vintage-inspired events, particularly for hen-parties who love the idea of stepping back in time, getting dressed up and having afternoon tea in a laid back, light-hearted atmosphere. Hens can choose from a variety of packages, which can take place at an indoor or outdoor venue of their choice, with prices ranging from £20 to £65 a hen. Packages include a Mad Hatter’s themed afternoon tea party, a cup cake decorating class (including vintage pinnies and Forties music) and Breakfast at Tiffany’s, which includes a styling session with vintage outfits and accessories. www.amostcuriousparty.co.uk email: Rebecca@amostcuriousparty.co.uk phone : +44 (0)78 5215 0285 One Response Tonia March 5th, 2010 What a great idea!
